As a member of Microchip s maXTouch® U Series touchscreen controller, the mXT874U, utilizes Microchip Adaptive Sensing technology with hybrid self- and mutual-capacitance sensing. Its Analog Front End (AFE) integrates a maxDSP and delivers unparalleled Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) that supports highly accurate and robust touch sensing capabilities. The mXT847U supports 1.5mm passive stylus sensing, 5.0mm glove touch, robust moisture touch performance, and superior noise immunity. Support: off the shelf maXTouch standard modules are available to help shorten development time and reduce risk. Microchip also has a strong selection of factory trained global touch sensor module partners to help support custom touch sensor and/or touchscreen display designs.
