What are the common sensors?

I believe that many people are already familiar with the name sensor. Sensors are also used in all walks of life and even in our daily life. Whether it is aerospace or our home appliances, many sensors are used. So, do you know what are the classifications of sensors? Lets find out below.

Hall sensor: converts a changing magnetic field into a change in output voltage. The Hall sensor is first used to measure the magnetic field, and it can also measure the physical quantities that generate and affect the magnetic field. For example, it is used in proximity switches, Hall, position measurement, speed measurement and current measurement devices.

Temperature Sensor: A temperature sensor is a sensor that can sense temperature and convert it into a usable output signal. The temperature sensor is the core part of the temperature measuring instrument, and there are many kinds. According to the measurement method, it can be divided into two categories: contact type and non-contact type. According to the characteristics of sensor materials and electronic components, it can be divided into thermal resistance and thermocouple.

Photoelectric sensor: Photoelectric sensor is one of the common sensors. There are many types of them, mainly including: phototubes, photomultiplier tubes, photoresistors, phototransistors, solar cells, infrared sensors, ultraviolet sensors, fiber optic photoelectric sensors, color sensors, CCD and CMOS image sensors, etc.

Pressure sensor: A pressure sensor (pressure sensor) is a device that can sense pressure signals and convert them into usable output electrical signals according to specific rules.

Liquid level sensor: Liquid level sensor (static pressure liquid level gauge/liquid level transmitter/liquid level sensor/water level sensor) is a pressure sensor used to measure liquid level. The hydrostatic input level transmitter (level gauge) is based on the principle that the measured hydrostatic pressure is proportional to the liquid height. It uses foreign advanced isolated diffusion silicon sensitive elements or ceramic capacitor pressure sensitive sensors to convert static electricity. The voltage is converted into an electrical signal, which is then converted to a standard electrical signal (typically 4-20mA/1~5VDC) after temperature compensation and linearity correction.

Flow sensor: The water flow sensor is mainly composed of copper valve body, water flow rotor assembly, stable flow assembly and Hall element. It is installed on the inlet side of the water heater to measure the inlet water flow. As water flows through the rotor assembly, the magnetic rotor spins at a rate that varies linearly with flow.
